iFit Boot camp
The Ico Rodulfo Fitness Boot Camp (iFit Boot Camp), is my newest group fitness program. This one hour program is a combination of a cardiovascular workout and a strengthening program. It includes body weight exercises, plyometrics, abdominal training and jogging/sprinting. This once a week workout brings the individual's fitness program outside the gym. Aside from the superb workout that one will get, the iFit Boot Camp provides social/team support and definitely it is FUN!!

"Tatakbo Ka Ba" Fun Run 2009
We woke up at 4am this morning to join the Fun Run in The Fort. Dubbed “Eleksyon 2010 na, Tatakbo Ka Ba? – Hamon Para sa Kaayusan ng Pilipinas", the one-day fun run – that starts GMA Network’s grand pre-election party – aims to promote the conduct of clean and honest polls in 2010 where the country is set to choose leaders that would direct the country towards change and economic growth in the next six years. The event met the target of 5000 registered runners two weeks after it was announced.
There were lots of people. Good thing, Regine was there to meet us so we can enter and stay near the stage. It was really fun!!!

Running Tips
If you're planning to join a fun run or a marathon anytime soon, better be reminded about these things:
1. Do warm up exercises before stretching. Never stretch a cold muscle.
2. Training for running: progressive runs and cross training.
3. Wear appropriate synthetic blend material for shirts, shorts and even socks. They can prevent chaffing.
4. Hydate yourself. An hour before the run, drink 16-24 ounces (2-3 cups) of water, then 8 ounces (1 cup) of water before the run. Drink every 15-20 during the run and drink 24 ounces (3 cups) of water after the run.
Enjoy and have fun!

Anybody Want to Play Frisbee??
It's FUN! It's a good exercise too because it will make you run, jump, squat and move your arms and hands. It's also good for coordination skill development. You can play with friends (or with your dog) anywhere but more fun in parks!
